Joseph Impellizeri is a Board-Certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a broad and meaningful healthcare background, shaped by years at the patient bedside in emergency medicine and inpatient psychiatry. These early clinical experiences gave him firsthand insight into the powerful connection between mental and physical health and sparked a passion for providing care that treats the whole person—not just symptoms.

Today, Joseph primarily provides outpatient psychiatric care, with a focus on thoughtful medication management and collaborative, individualized treatment planning. He believes that emotional wellbeing, physical health, lifestyle habits, and life circumstances are deeply interconnected. With this in mind, he takes an integrated approach to care, working closely with patients to understand the full context of their experiences and helping them make informed decisions that support lasting mental and physical wellness.

In addition to his outpatient practice, Joseph continues to moonlight as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Yale New Haven Hospital, allowing him to remain engaged in the fast-paced, acute setting of inpatient psychiatry. This ongoing clinical involvement sharpens his ability to identify early warning signs, navigate complex presentations, and bring a well-rounded, comprehensive perspective to his outpatient work.

Kelly is a former college athlete turned dietitian with experience working with professional sports, private practice, and functional health. She is not only our administrative assistant but Kelly's main work is as a Registered Dietitian, if you are interested in nutrition guidance, she would love to work together!

Tracy Campbell PA-C

Tracy is a Physician Assistant and the Practice Manager at Renewal Psychiatry. She combines clinical expertise with hands-on leadership to support both patient care and practice operations. She brings extensive experience from Yale New Haven Hospital, having worked in the Emergency Department and surgical settings,which shaped her thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.. Tracy is highly skilled in medication management and has specialized experience in medical weight loss and bariatrics, allowing her to address the critical connection between mental health, metabolic health, and long-term outcomes. As Practice Manager, she also guides patients through intake, scheduling, and insurance processes to ensure a seamless and supportive experience.
